Yoga Nidra: 6 Class Series
As the nights grow longer and the days grow shorter it’s the perfect time to turn inward and dream. Join experienced Yoga teacher and Yoga Nidra facilitator, Jennifer McLeish Lewis in the practice of Yoga Nidra, an ancient technique for healing and clearing subconscious blocks from your body & mind. Moving awareness through different points in the body, this 45 min guided savasana or ‘yogic sleep’ as it’s sometimes described, is an experience of relaxation, nervous system regulation and re-patterning all in one. Each class will begin with a few gentle movements to prepare the body for laying still. Then, once deeply relaxed, in a theta brain wave state, you are guided to plant the seeds of an intention deeply in the subconscious and create the foundation for change in your in every area of your life.
Yoga Nidra has many benefits including stress reduction, increased immunity, weight loss, reduced anxiety and depression, better sleep and hormone regulation.
Whether giving a massage treatment, a private yoga lesson, an energy healing session, or a somatic coaching consultation, Jennifer’s deep listening and embodied presence create a space for healing, wellness and insight to occur.
